Review/Comment in the media stage shows Resumes Timeline Teaching

Greetings Visitors!

This website is not a very high priority, but I will try to periodically strike a blow for putting off procrastination and actually do some work on it.

Before you read any further...
I just directed MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING at Weathervane Playhouse in Akron, OH and the first review is at this page:  The Akron Leader.

I have to post it myself, in the event that some disaster strikes, this review MUST live on. I think I will include it in my portfolio. Honestly.

(click the pic to read the review with my own commentary/footnotes.)

UPCOMING PROJECTS:

SOUTH PACIFIC at the JCC, October 2005

BEAUTY & THE BEAST at the Beck Center, December 2005

Teaching in Oslo, Norway in January 2006

THE WAR THAT MADE AMERICA airs on PBS, late January 2006

There is actually quite a bit to catch people up on, my acting on stage, on film, television, directing, artistic directing, and even a personal story or two.  So if you will just be patient and check back periodically, I assure you it will all be worthwhile.  Well, perhaps only somewhat worthwhile. Maybe not at all.  It is simply your call whether you will have wasted your time, because I am doing it for my own sake, to make me feel like I have a presence on the web, so bug off with your,"Who cares who this soon-to-be-has-been is?"

Enough idle chatter... on to the meat and potatoes:

To the right is my current headshot. Should get another print from my session, but it still seems to be applicable. Greg James is the photographer and he gave me a great session, with a load of terrific shots. I can't find a link to him, but as soon as I do, I will attach it to his name.

This is an old headshot.
It became quite out of date,
but it served me well for a few years.
The shot was taken by Louis McClung in 1994
(or was it 95?)

The link is to his salon in Lakewood, OH.

Here is my TO DO list for the site. Feel free to use it as a checklist to rate my progress:

Page for film/tv credits and affiliations,
Page for directing credits,
Page for friends and associates,
Page for stage credits,
Page for writing credits,
Page of stuff that amuses me,
Page of teaching projects,
Photos and sound clips,
My favorite things (movies, shows, actors, writers, etc.),
and a Page for my fight choreography work.

How's that for a short list?

I am an actor, director, stage combat choreographer, American Sign Language interpreter,
clown, mime, writer, jack of all trades, and now... web designer?

Whatever.

If you want to see pictures of some of my work, follow this link.

This site is designed to represent my life, or at least as much as I choose to share online. The site is divided into two basic arenas:

PERSONAL

Family- All those people that I am biologically linked to.

Friends- Those people who I enjoy sharing my time with (and who don't fall into the first category)

School- Everywhere I have trained or studied and the people I worked with there (who don't fall into either of the two above categories.)

Travel- Where I have gone or want to go.

My Writing- Stories, plays, and columns I have written or am currently working on.

PROFESSIONAL

Cleveland Shakespeare Festival- a theatre dedicated to free, outdoor performances of the Bard's plays.

Cleveland Fight Ensemble- a stage combat troupe founded by myself, Clay Van Sickle and Joshua Brown.

Teaching- wherever, whatever, whomever, and whenever I am doing so.

Acting- theatres I have, am, or will be performing with, and projects in development.

Directing- theatres and projects I have, am, or will direct for.

Interpreting-  primarily theatrical interpreting into American Sign Language.

Here is a General Timeline that I will update periodically with a rough schedule of my plans, projects and whereabouts.

If you would like to contact me, email is best.

Also, I am creating my own Universal Start Page as a resource to the most useful and most entertaining sites that I have found on the web.
